What the buyer wants

The Swedish Defence Agency (FRA) invites the procurement of a new ERP system, as negotiated in two stages. FRA currently uses the ERP business system delivered by Unit4. The system is installed at FRA, which is responsible for ongoing operations and management. The need is a business system that effectively administers the authority’s economy under current legislation during peace, crisis and war. FRA requests a system that is delivered on-premises.

The procurement includes implementation of implementation including completion of integrations, regulatory adaptations, establishment of production and test environments and consultancy support during and after introduction, training and support/maintenance. Functionality requested for upcoming systems is e.g. purchasing module, functionality for scanning, interpreting and managing paper and pdf invoices, supplier travel contracts, accounting, customer travel contracts, construction registers, budget and forecast.

Even the functionality of time reporting, projects and contract monitoring may be up-to-date. The project is estimated to be the earliest start in August 2027 and the system is intended to be in full by 1 January 2029.
