What the buyer wants
We are looking for a device that monitors the line feed (EDI over IP multicast) and responds to events and failures according to our specifications. The aim is to be able to continue to operate selected transmitters in an SFN in the event of a communication failure. The apparatus should have at least four inputs and two outputs for the various circuits of the line signals.
Two inputs are used for the normal EDI signals from the leased lines, two further inputs are occupied by EDI signals by reserve paths which are available on site. Further interfaces are available for remote and on-site access. This device is called Modulation Automatic (MA). The expected scope includes: - 64 automatic modulation systems - 24 separator pairs (2 controllers per SFN = 48 pieces)
