IT infrastructure equipment

The procurement entity will endeavour to acquire the IT infrastructure technical equipment that includes, taking into account operational needs and IT infrastructure development and modernisation plans during the duration of this MTF. 1. storage units and components thereof: disk drives (SSD, HDD) or individual drives, controllers, backup devices, special high-speed network infrastructure (SAN, NAS), storage expansion modules, etc. 2. Service stations and their components: physical servers (rack / power type), blade servers, virtualization servers for storing VM, processors, active memory (RAM), network panels, video panels, RAID controllers, power supply modules (UPS, PDU), etc. 3. Network equipment and components: Switch, Router, Access Points, Firewall, Modems, VPN devices, Network Monitoring solutions, Network cables, Optical Modules, Network Expansion Modules, Load Distribution Devices (Load Balcer), etc. 4. The operation of IT hardware in data centres requires integrated software (e.g. firmware) when the operation of the equipment requires additional licences. 5. Where necessary and other IT infrastructure hardware that is operated in data centres. The specific requirements for the purchased object, technical specification, will be included in the documentation for a specific procurement based on an MTF.
