System for the backup and protection of scientific data

The purpose of this procurement procedure is to supply a set of equipment, accessories and related services, which will form the first phase of the intended complete solution for the construction of a highly durable and high capacity environment for the backup and archiving of the whole contracting entity's infrastructure. This first stage is not intended to represent the final target status of all backup and archiving layers, but must create an operationally usable, expandable and technically well designed basis for further development of the solution. The general definition of the subject-matter of the performance is set out in Annex 2a to the procurement documents. Annex No 2c to the procurement documents - Description of the current state of the contracting authority's environment and Annex No 2b to the procurement documents - Technical specifications are a non-public annex to the procurement documents and will be provided to the supplier within 3 working days on the basis of the supplier's request sent by the contracting authority through the profile of the contracting authority together with the signed confidentiality agreement by the contractor - see Annex 11 to the procurement documents.
