What the buyer wants

The procurement shall cover a software-based distributed scale-out storage system (SDS) with at least seven storage nodes and a usable capacity of at least 3 PB. It must support redundant storage (N+2) and integrate the protocols S3, NFS and SMB. The nodes are connected via at least 1GB/s Ethernet and must be seamlessly expandable. Security, monitoring and basic administration by ITCC administrators are also required. The offer is based on an evb-IT system contract with a basic term of five years. Optionally, it must be possible to offer support for the 6th to 8th year.

  • Quobyte file system with distributed, redundant data storage
  • Functionality: S3 and NFS Server has been set up
  • the service provision of all reference orders must be completed at the time of the offer, and
  • the end of the service provision of all reference orders must not be more than five years ago at the time of the offer.
