What the buyer wants
The goal of procurement is to ensure sustainable, secure and manufacturer-supported operation of the virtualization platform. The migration to the current product generation creates the conditions for the long-term operation of the virtual server and infrastructure environment as well as current functions, security updates and manufacturer support.
The services to be procured thus include the provision of the necessary VMware vSphere Foundation licenses for the intended scope of use, including maintenance, update and support services by the manufacturer for the contract period of five years. The existing virtualization environment is to be sustainably secured with regard to functionality, availability and operational stability and adapted to the manufacturer's current license and product models.
