What the buyer wants
From 01.01.2027, the University of Applied Sciences Aachen will require a glass fiber connection (two unexposed optical fibers) from Aachen to Jülich. The demand for two unexposed optical fibres serves to ensure a future-proof and flexible use of the passive fibre infrastructure. By providing two separate double fibers, in addition to the currently required transmission path, additional fibers for redundancy, extensions, alternative transmission paths or future applications are available. The two-fiber design also reduces the effort for later retrofits and increases the operational reliability, expandability and long-term economic efficiency of the infrastructure.

The contact person must be available for technical consultations during the contract period and must be able to speak and write to the German language. Evidence: designation of the intended contact person, including a brief description of the relevant qualification and professional experience.
