Total amount or scope of the service (including all lots and options, as applicable) Based on the needs assessment carried out by the participating institutions, the expected total order volume over the maximum contract period of four years is estimated at EUR 7,800,000.00 net. The maximum value of the framework agreement is set at 10.000.000,00 EUR net. The difference between the estimated value of the contract and the maximum value shall take into account, in particular, possible additional procurement needs resulting from short-term public funding and budgetary resources. Experience from previous financial years shows that, in particular at the end of the year, additional funds can be made available for the modernisation and expansion of existing IT infrastructures. In addition, the market for network components is subject to volatile price developments, which can only be forecast to a limited extent over the planned contract period of up to four years. The set maximum value takes account of these uncertainties and is intended to ensure that the participating entities can use the tendered services even in the event of additional needs that are not currently fully quantifiable. The maximum value represents the binding upper limit for all calls from all eligible facilities during the maximum contract period. There is no obligation to be fully exploited. The German Electron Synchrotron DESY performs the award procedure in the lead for the institutions named in the opening clause. Once the contract has been awarded, the participating entities shall conclude separate framework contracts, including the associated RU-IT contracts, with the awarded contractor on the basis of the contractual terms and conditions laid down in the procurement procedure. A joint framework agreement is concluded for the locations DESY Hamburg and DESY Zeuthen. The discounts offered and awarded in the procurement procedure as well as the agreed contractual conditions apply uniformly to all facilities entitled to call. Each entity designated in the opening clause shall be entitled to independently award individual contracts under the framework agreement within the agreed contract period. The entrustment, settlement and financial management shall each be carried out in the name and on behalf of the entity concerned. Each call shall be made under the conditions laid down in the procurement procedure. No provision is made for a new procurement procedure or negotiations of the agreed conditions.
