Hypervisor subscription licenses (VMware Cloud Foundation / Broadcom)

The subject of the tender is the provision and renewal of subscription licenses for the virtualization platform VMware Cloud Foundation (manufacturer Broadcom) used by the client, including the associated manufacturer support as well as additional, available support services of the contractor. It is a pure license and extension business with maintenance and on-demand support services. Specifically, the scope of services includes: - provision and renewal of the subscription licenses for the VMware Cloud Foundation (Subscription, 12 months) and VMware vDefend Firewall Bundle (Subscription, 12 months) of 2,360 cores each, with the licensing of both positions being congruent on the same core number; - proof of registration of licenses with the manufacturer; - Manufacturer support and maintenance for the subscription period, at least at the manufacturer's "Production Support" level with 24 hours, 7 days a week accessibility for critical disruptions (Severity 1); - a retrievable support quota of the contractor in person days amounting to a maximum of 5 person days for the performance period, retrievable as required without acceptance obligation of the client, for escalation management vis-à-vis the manufacturer, advice on licensing and compliance issues and support in determining the quantity required for a follow-up purchase; - Reporting and license balance. Licensing is core-based, taking into account the minimum licensing of 16 cores per CPU. the reference to products of the manufacturer Broadcom is justified by the subject-matter of the contract and is intended to ensure interoperability with the existing safety-critical operating environment of the contracting entity; The subject matter is the continuation of an existing installed base, a product change is not the subject matter of this procedure. The performance period covers twelve months from 01.10.2026 to 30.09.2027 and follows immediately after the expiry of the existing subscription. the service is awarded as a one-off procurement; there is no call model for the licence items.
