1. Lot 1Jamk - Simulation system of Hippos Centre of Excellence

   The target of the acquisition is Jyväskylä Hippos Centre of Excellence Simulation system (AVS system), located in premises completed in 2027, to be used by the Hyvinvoitus unit of Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences. The simulation system shall cover all equipment listed in the bidding process as well as software. In addition to the actual simulation modes, the simulation environment covers all learning facilities on two (2) floors and control spaces, which control simulation situations and connections to different teaching modes. The simulation system creates a wide range of simulation exercises for educational purposes similar to genuine social and health interaction and customer situations. The purpose of the simulation system is to enable the imaging, recording and real-time control of educational situations. Capital of Sport The new Hippos Centre, built in Jyväskylä, will provide a unique combination of mobility, hobbies, and sports. The Hippos region will further strengthen Jyväskylä's position as the leading city for research and education in sport and top sports. The Hippo Centre consists of four (4) units: the sports centre, the centre of excellence, the ice sports centre and the parking garage Hippos-Park. Construction will take place in stages and the project will be completed in full by the end of 2027. Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences The welfare unit moves Hippos to the premises of the centre of expertise, the fifth (5.) and sixth (6.) floors. The contracting entity has previously published a call for information on procurement (585563 / Jamk - Simulation System Information Request) and a call for tender (603116 / Jamk - Hippos Simulation System). The competition / acquisition was suspended on 9 June 2026 due to the material errors in the invitation to tender. Acquisition is not divided into parts, as the different components of the procurement constitute an operational and technical entity which would be implemented by several suppliers with a significant risk of compatibility, burden sharing and time management. The fragmentation of procurement would substantially increase the need for coordination and could jeopardise the proper execution of the contract. In addition, the overall solution will enable the procurement to be carried out in a technically manageable and cost-effective manner.
