Procurement of a storage system of the brand HPE Alletra

CONTRACTING ENTITIES SYNODIS gGmbH is a non-profit company sponsored by hospital companies. It shall act as a procuring and publicising body. It acquires the object of procurement and subsequently sells it to AGAPLESION FRANKFURTER DIAKONIE KLINIKEN gGmbH, Ginnheimer Landstraße 94, 60487 Frankfurt am Main (hereinafter the “recipient”). AGAPLESION FRANKFURTER DIAKONIE KLINIKEN gGmbH is a church-supported hospital company and recipient of funding for this procurement.

The procedure shall be carried out on a voluntary basis in accordance with procurement law. No classification of SYNODIS gGmbH or AGAPLESION FRANKFURTER DIAKONIE KLINIKEN gGmbH as public contracting authority within the meaning of § 99 GWB is associated with the execution of this procurement procedure. Voluntary application shall be used to establish and demonstrate the transparency of the procurement process required by the eligibility conditions.

The category selected in the form field for the legal form of the acquirer is used solely for technical mapping in the eForms data model, which does not provide for a category for voluntary application of procurement law. A legal classification according to § 99 GWB is not associated with this. In the following, SYNODIS gGmbH is referred to as the “client”. PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION The client plans to procure a HPE Alletra (HPE GreenLake for Block Storage) storage facility for the recipient. The object of procurement essentially comprises the following components:

• HPE 25Gb SFP28 Short Wave Extended Temperature Optical Transceiver (8x)
• HPE Alletra Storage MP 7.68TB NVMe SFF Self-encrypting SSD (14x)
• HPE Storage Data Encryption LTU (1x)
• Installation, installation and commissioning of storage memory The details are given in the DOCUMENT C. specification of services. The background to this procurement is the expansion of the recipient’s storage infrastructure through an efficient block storage system. The recipient needs a powerful block storage system to expand its existing storage infrastructure.The procurement includes an HPE Alletra Storage MP 10000 system with redundant controller nodes, NVMe SSDs, network components and associated licenses. The installation must be done by certified technicians of the contractor on behalf of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The detailed requirements for the individual components can be found in the DOCUMENT C. specification of services.The services contained in the DOCUMENT C. List of services are minimum requirements and must be met. Failure to meet one or more minimum requirements shall lead to the exclusion of the tender. Therefore, all services in column “H” of the specification must be marked with “Yes”. All services are priced. Offering successor models is permitted. The delivery of the storage system must take place in 2026.The procurement takes place by way of an open procedure according to § 15 VgV. Therefore, all applicable procurement rules apply.
