Supplementing the IT hardware equipment of the IKT environment, including necessary related services

Complementing HW equipment for ICT environments including necessary related services for FNsP F.D. Roosevelta Banská Bystrica Necessary related services are defined in the detailed technical specification of the subject matter of the contract. The contracting authority shall operate a comprehensive hospital information system and other supporting information systems on a highly accessible platform in two own data halls.

The current environment is operated on 4 pieces of x86 architecture servers, on the VMware platform, 2 pieces of data storages and corresponding network connectivity elements on Cisco platform involved highly accessible without SPoF. The facilities are divided between two locally separated data halls within the hospital area.

This environment consists of one whole - a highly available cluster in which all data are synchronously replicated between sites to ensure continuity of operation in the event of operational failures. The solution includes an automated backup system at image level and at the level of files and databases, which is implemented by Veeam tools. The environment is under the active support of manufacturers (valid maintenance) and under the active SLA of the key supplier of the hospital information system.

The subject of the procurement is the addition of a platform in the form of a separate new cluster located in two locations as well as the current solution, provided by the qualified person responsible for the coordination and management of the delivered project. The new platform will serve to accommodate new modern applications whose increased requirements for computing performance and capacity are not sufficient to cover the current solution.

The contracting authority shall require the supply of exclusively new non-used goods of hardware equipment and licences, not to accept used or reprocessed equipment or licences. Facilities must be intended for distribution in the Slovak Republic. The technical details of the equipment required are given in the detailed technical specification of the subject of the contract. The object of the contract to be offered must comply with the defined technical specification.

Where the specification of the subject-matter of the contract, the summary of some of those parameters or the range of parameters would identify the product of a particular manufacturer, the contracting authority shall allow the possibility to submit the equivalent in the tender, provided that such subject-matter meets the requirements for the performance, operational and functional characteristics necessary to ensure the purpose for which the subject-matter of the contract is intended.

The burden of proof for the identification of the product of a particular manufacturer and for the fulfilment of the performance, operational and functional characteristics shall lie with the candidate.

The candidate shall guarantee the functionality of the subject-matter of the contract by supplying and pricing all the components which are part of the subject-matter of the contract, including those not specified in the description of the subject-matter of the contract and which are directly or indirectly related to the functionality of the subject-matter of the contract.

The contracting authority shall welcome if the candidate also indicates parameters which are not contained in the specification and may have a significant impact on the quality, operating costs and lifetime of the subject matter of the contract. All services offered must comply with the relevant requirements laid down in EU legislation.
