What the buyer wants
The subject of the contract is the supply and commissioning of a complex data centre as one architecturally coherent solution consisting of NON-IT technologies (electric power supply, backup, cooling/VZT, fire protection, security, monitoring), IT hardware (calculation, storage, network and GPU sources) and downstream software (virtualisation, containerisation, object storage, control and presentation layers, AI services).
These are data centres in two locations: CVTI Data Centre in Žilina and CVTI Data Centre in Bratislava, while architecture and replication count on redundant infrastructure in another location. The result of the implementation should be a single operating unit able to provide IT services for R & D needs safely and reliably, including the operation and training of AI models.
