In order to prove the qualification and authorisation for the pursuit of the profession, the tenderer shall provide a professional or commercial register extract (or equivalent proof) provided that the registration is a prerequisite for the pursuit of the profession in accordance with the rules of the respective Member State. In the case of entries in a German commercial register, state the competent register and the commercial register number. The issuing authority shall retrieve the extract from the register itself. If there is no registration in a German commercial register, a corresponding proof (possibly business registration with individual companies or foreign register) must be submitted on request of the awarding authority. The request shall be made only in the case of tenderers eligible for the contract. The proof can already be submitted with the tender in order to speed up the procedure.

In order to prove the economic and financial capacity of the bidder, the proof (certification of insurance) of an existing company liability insurance or insurance company is provided. Professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover sum of: - lump sum 500.000,00 EUR for personal injury; - flat-rate EUR 500,000.00 for damage to property; - flat-rate EUR 500,000.00 for property damages; the maximisation of the replacement benefit must be at least twice the coverage amount per year of insurance. The insurance undertaking must be authorised in a Member State of the European Union or a Contracting State to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The minimum requirements for insurance must be maintained throughout the term of the contract.
