Network migration and operations

The existing LAN infrastructure of KZV North Rhine is based on a historically developed network architecture. A significant part of the access switch infrastructure used is approaching the end of its economic or technical life cycle. The purpose of this call is to supply, implement and commission a fully operational LAN infrastructure, including all components and services required for this purpose. The scope of services includes in particular: - Delivery of all active network components according to the requirements of this specification. Delivery of all required licenses, software components and manufacturer subscriptions. - Delivery of all necessary transceivers, connection components and accessories. - Creation of detailed planning for migration. - Project management including transition management. - Implementation of the overall solution in ongoing operation. - implementation of commissioning, including functional and acceptance tests. - Creation of complete operational and project documentation. - Conduct administrator training and transfer of know-how. Provision of the agreed maintenance, support and service services over the advertised service period. The existing core and distribution infrastructure remains fundamentally part of the future network architecture and must be integrated into the offered overall solution. The existing WLAN infrastructure must in principle continue to be operated. Where a migration to a single manufacturer platform is recommended by the bidder, corresponding concepts and optional services shall be presented separately.
