The subject of the acquisition is the XR, Metaverse and web3 component implementation of the XR museum project. The procurement will be carried out dynamically and individual sub-implementation will be submitted to competition from selected suppliers at a later date. The XR Museum is a joint project of Järvenpää, Kerava and Tuusula museums, where a virtual museum centre is built. In addition to municipal museums, private museums Ainola and Lotta Museum are included. The project has received funding from the European Union's Next Generation EU structural assistance. The project started in spring 2023 and the new museum will be opened in spring 2025. The project is led by a steering group composed of representatives of the museums and municipalities involved. The project will be implemented by a separate project team. The XR Museum consists of different XR, metaverse and web3 implementations. Most of these are browser-based, but we also make VR productions, for example. The aim is to create experiential and interactive ways to experience the art and culture of the region. All applications produced by the project are designed and tested together with audiences and stakeholders, and inclusion processes are included in all sub-implementation. To date, the project has carried out remote visits from 360 photographs, as well as a model of the art shop Villa Kokkonen. The work is under way to build a metaverse environment and create an event space for the museum. There will be more modelling, and more browser and VR experiences that benefit from these. The procedure concerns the XR, metaverse and web3 sub-arrangements of the supra- municipal XR Museum project. The procedure will be carried out dynamically and the individual subprojects will be tendered at a later stage among the suppliers selected in this procedure. So far, the project has produced 360-photo constructed remote tours and a model of the artist's home Villa Kokkonen. Work is underway to build a metaverse environment and create an event space for the museum. Future work will include the production of more modelling and browser and VR experiences using these.
