What the buyer wants
1. Provision and operation of a proprietary, productively used processing pipeline for generating 4D Gaussian plating data sets as well as for mesh-based reconstruction from high-resolution volumetric raw data. The pipeline must be able to process camera images with a resolution of more than 8K each and a total resolution of more than 2,500 megapixels per frame. Decisive is the sum of the pixel resolutions of all camera images belonging to a recording time.
The generated data sets shall have a texture resolution of at least 8.192 × 8.192 pixels. Implementation and continuous optimization of mesh-based reconstruction techniques as well as diffusion and LoRA-based training pipelines to improve quality, detail and time consistency of volumetric data. Implementation of cleanup, upscaling and optimization processes to reduce artifacts and improve texture quality and performance optimization for XR/VR applications.
Close technical coordination with Volucap to integrate processing results into existing production and cloud infrastructures, support API connections and standardized data transfer processes, and continuous adaptation of the pipeline based on quality metrics and project results. All source codes, models, CAD data or other intellectual services developed within the framework of the project will be transferred to Volucap in full by way of a buyout for exclusive use.
This includes the training configurations created within the project as well as the technical documentation required for independent further development. Volucap receives the right to independently develop, modify and use the developed software or system components. The monthly infrastructure or basic fee applies for months in which the customer calls up post-production services. It includes the operational readiness of the post-production pipeline. The retrieved post-production services are remunerated according to the offered minute price.

Proof of registration in a professional or commercial register or other proof of the permitted practice
Providers must demonstrate their competence and expertise through examples, references or portfolios. The obligatory technical eligibility criterion is the demonstrable proof that the provider has independently published at least 60 minutes of volumetric video material in the last completed calendar year, which is based on a mesh-based reconstruction with a processing resolution of over 2500 megapixels per frame. The proof shall be provided by published references, technical documentation, project confirmations or comparable supporting evidence. Pure test data or internal development projects without publication are not considered sufficient.
Furthermore, it is mandatory to prove that the provider has worked productively with 4D Gaussian Splatting. For this purpose, at least two realized projects must be submitted, in which volumetric or multi-camera-based data were transferred into 4D Gaussian Splatting data sets. Technical details of the pipeline shall be disclosed, in particular the data source (multi-camera setup), the resolution of the input data, the temporal consistency (4D), the optimisation steps and the target platform (e.g. XR/real-time application). Viewer links, technical descriptions or quality comparisons shall be attached.
In addition, the provider must demonstrate that it has processed high-resolution volumetric data and that the underlying pipeline can process camera images with a resolution of more than 8K and a total resolution of more than 2,500 megapixels per frame. Decisive is the sum of the pixel resolutions of all camera images belonging to a recording time. For this purpose, information on the GPU infrastructure used, parallelization and average processing times per minute of content must be provided.
