Maintenance, development and other services for Kofax components

There is a need for various services, which are advertised in the form of a maintenance contract, a service contract and a framework agreement. Due to the individual technical procedures for the Electronic Commercial and Cooperative Register (EHUG), the electronic criminal justice exchange (ESTA) and the use of the document management system DOMEA, the BfJ works with the scan standard software Kofax. Kofax is required for the creation of electronic documents from the paper-based inbox of EHUG and the judicial recovery. The BfJ intends to continue using the software, which will require a new care contract for continuous care from January 1, 2027. For this purpose, an EVB-IT maintenance contract is to be concluded. A connector was developed for connection to the EHUG technical process. This interface (individual software) must also be maintained from January 1, 2027. This is concluded in an EVB-IT service contract. The central scan point of the BfJ was upgraded according to the specifications of TR-RESISCAN. In order to technically implement the requirements of TR-RESISCAN, adjustments and extensions were made to Kofax by the current service provider. The scanning material passes through the Kofax-owned modules Scanning, PDFGenerator and Export. They also run through modules of the current service provider (Kofax Capture Custom Module). The maintenance of the Kofax Capture Custom Modules is also part of this tender and is also required from January 1, 2027. These three performance components are to be provided and billed by an annual lump sum. In addition, the BfJ has a need for creation, development and other services. For this purpose, a framework agreement is concluded. For the existing EHUG interface as well as for other new technical procedures, development and further development services are commissioned. For the connection of new technical processes, configuration and development services may have to be provided. Other services can be called up, among other things, as consulting management, workshop and/or operational support, e.g. for installation/configuration work or development work on site at the contractor, in the form of telephone advice and/or remote support.
