The aim of this acquisition is to find the most economically advantageous ICT supplier for the municipality of Taivasalo. The contract period has been fixed at 4 years plus one two-year option period. After the option period, the contract becomes indefinite. For years, the subscriber has acquired the services that are acquired from Tiera Oy, for example, but as the procurement legislation changes, Taivasalo has to apply for a new service provider.
Current service agreement Tiera has been terminated and the contract expires on 30 June 2027. Taivassalo's telecommunications services and Windows's capacity service will continue to be provided by Vakka-Suomen Päää Oy. The purpose of the acquisition is to select a reliable, high quality and cost-efficient ICT service provider for the subscriber.
