What the buyer wants

The scope of the public procurement includes the following:

Provision of an endpoint protection solution The Contractor shall deliver an endpoint protection solution (XDR) capable of cyber threat detection using behavioral analytics with minimum technical requirements described in Table No. 1 of the Contracting Authority's Technical Specifications – Annex No. 1. The Contractor must deliver and install all necessary licenses with rights to use all required functionalities for the protection of 750 workstations and servers.

The Contractor shall ensure maintenance of the existing equipment until 31.12.2029. *** Performance requirements are described in detail in the Contracting Authority's Technical Specifications – Annex No. 1. *** All delivered software product licenses under this public procurement shall be issued in the name of the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). *** Parameters of the Firewall Maintenance Service:
      • Possibility to register incidents on the manufacturer's website;
      • Possibility to download updates from the manufacturer's website;
      • Possibility for on-site hardware maintenance and replacement of a defective component if necessary. *** As of the date of the decision to open the procedure, funding has not been secured. The rules of Art. 114 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) shall apply. *** Implementation deadlines:
      • The deadline for providing the endpoint protection solution under Item I and the firewall maintenance under Item II is up to 15 (fifteen) business days from the date of receipt of the notification of secured funding sent by the Contracting Authority and submission by the Contractor of the designated performance guarantee, under the terms of the draft contract.
      • The period for XDR software support is a min. of 36 months. The specific period shall be proposed in the participants' tenders.
      • The maintenance period for existing firewalls is until 31.12.2029. *** The participant in the public procurement must be duly authorized by the manufacturer or by its official representative with the granted right to distribute/deliver the offered products in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
