What the buyer wants
Three amplifier/frequency multiplier chains are procured for generating local oscillator signals for the extension of the submillimeter spectrometer CHAI. The scope of supply includes a 475 GHz frequency multiplier chain and two 800 GHz frequency multiplier chains, including the required supply components and connecting cables. The devices must be integrated into the existing CHAI system and compatible with the components already used. They shall meet the specified requirements for output power, frequency range, waveguide connection, polarisation, coolability, installation space, ground and operation. External power supply units are permitted. Delivery, transport, insurance and all ancillary services up to the point of use are part of the contract.
