EData is intended for the performance of the Agency’s permanent tasks in the areas of collection, coordination, processing, analytics, reporting and data display. Data obtained by the Agency from operators through questionnaires are the basis for monitoring developments in the electronic communications market, exercising regulatory powers, supporting decision-making, preparing analyses and strategies and reporting to national and international institutions.
The information system should therefore function reliably, safely and allow for continuous, traceable and efficient work of all user groups. The Agency is legally obliged to provide the various institutions (European Commission, other regulatory and competent authorities, etc.) with the data and information they need to carry out their tasks.
At each revision of the questionnaires, the administrator of the Agency must exclude from quarterly or annual or additional questionnaires variables that are no longer required to report or add other variables to obtain data (values) and information to be newly collected.
