Procurement, implementation and implementation of an integrated cloud LIMS (native SaaS) for an accredited contract laboratory in the Kritis water sector The accredited laboratories of the Berlin water companies are specialized in physical, physical-chemical, chemical, biological and microbiological investigations of drinking water, wastewater, sludge and gases.
The focal points of the fields of activity are the technology-accompanying analysis, consulting of internal and external customers as well as official reporting obligations and communication. The existing laboratory information and management system (LIMS) is to be replaced by a modern, sustainable LIMS.
The new system is intended to digitise all laboratory processes, enable centralised and transparent data management and standardise the integration of various internal and external analysis and source and reporting systems. It is characterised by flexible management of orders, samples and data, offering fast analysis and easy adaptability to new requirements. Automation, artificial intelligence and an intuitive user interface increase efficiency and reduce the error rate.
The highest security standards for all data as well as for internal and external interfaces are guaranteed, including smooth compliance with all KRITIS requirements and accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. The LIMS aims to drive the digital transformation of the laboratory and ensure the highest standards of data integrity, security and usability.
