What the buyer wants

Stadtwerke Forchheim (SWF) operates several divisions as a municipal multi-sector supply company and performs central energy market roles (including supplier, grid operator and metering point operation). The necessary energy business processes, especially in the context of market communication, are currently operated via an existing, multi-part system landscape. The technical measurement point operation is the responsibility of SWF; The Smart Meter Gateway is provided by an external service provider. The company is currently operating on-premises in SWF’s data center. Against the backdrop of the strategic development of the existing product landscape and the prospective end of support for individual systems used, SWF aims to replace the existing ERP and billing landscape with an integrated, sustainable solution. The subject of this call is therefore the delivery, implementation, migration and commissioning of an integrated ERP and billing system including project, migration, training and support services. The future solution is intended to provide a continuous system landscape for commercial, energy and technical processes, ensuring in particular the technical requirements of SWF as well as the client- and audit-proof mapping of operational management and service structures. In addition, further mission-critical functions, which are currently provided in a separate application, are to be covered by integration, migration or solution approaches as required. The offered target architecture can be designed as a cloud/SaaS or on-premises solution; the bidder shall present the long-term support of relevant market roles and processes.
