What the buyer wants
TenneT, together with the other German transmission system operators, is to provide a common internet platform for the implementation of the tendering of capacities in accordance with StromVKG and will be implemented no later than by 15. Set up and operate October 2027. The aim of the tender is to define the framework conditions for the implementation, integration and operation of a secure and scalable software module for carrying out auctions and other processes in the German capacity market.
In particular, the solution will support bidding, evaluation, tendering and transmission in accordance with StromVKG and will be integrated into the common platform of the four German transmission system operators.
Scope of services Determination of framework conditions for the implementation, provision, configuration and integration of a tender and auction module into the central KaMa platform Mapping of the complete auction process from bid submission to award of the contract and publication of the results Processing of the transfer of capacity obligations Submission, testing and processing of indicative bids Application and processing of non-availability without obligation Optional: Management and processing of collateral Implementation of automated checks, role-based workflows and audit-proof documentation Ensuring information security, scalability and regulatory compliance Multi-year operation including maintenance, support and further development of the solution Contractual partner and beneficiary Contractual partner of the tendered contract is exclusively TenneT TSO GmbH.
Beneficiaries within the meaning of § 328 BGB will also be the following transmission system operators: 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, Amprion GmbH, TransnetBW GmbH. They are also entitled to use services from this contract. The contractor may assert all objections and objections arising from this contract against both the contracting entity and the beneficiaries. A detailed specification of services as well as other relevant documents are provided after signing an NDA.
