What the buyer wants
The Lot Standard-IT comprises the provision and operation of central IT infrastructure and platform services for the client. The services are provided as integrated operational services and form the technological basis for the operation of a large number of business IT applications and the associated infrastructure components. The lot includes in particular services of the data center infrastructure, the network and communication infrastructure, the application platforms and the technical application operation.
The systems, platforms and applications in the scope are provided to applicants in the offer phase in the form of a detailed service catalogue as well as supplementary inventory and architecture documents. Different performance levels are provided for the platforms and applications in the scope.
These can include in particular: housing, hosting, platform operation, technical application operation, provision of operating platforms, monitoring, backup and recovery services, patch and release management, operational support, technical operation management. The specific scope of services can be designed differently depending on the application, platform or infrastructure component.
For the provision of services, the contractor provides the necessary operating platforms, infrastructure components as well as management and monitoring tools and ensures their operation in accordance with the agreed service levels. The services also include the operational management of the necessary infrastructure domains.
This includes in particular: data center, server, virtualization, container platforms, storage, backup and recovery, archiving, network and connectivity, basic communication services and technical application platforms. The services are provided on the basis of defined quality levels and service level agreements. Highly available, safe and standardised operating procedures must be applied.
The service is provided according to the IT service management processes specified by ONTRAS and using the IT service management tools provided by ONTRAS. The services are also to be provided on the basis of the architecture, technology, integration, security and solution specifications defined by ONTRAS. The contractor implements these requirements within his area of responsibility and takes them into account in the operation, modification and further development of the services. The contractor is not entitled to use its own standard processes, its own IT service management systems or deviating architecture and solution specifications.
Insofar as the contractor uses his own processes or systems for his internal service provision, this does not release him from the service provision in the processes and systems specified by ONTRAS. Additional integrations, synchro-nizations or organizational measures that are required due to the contractor’s own systems or process models are the responsibility of the contractor.
